# tp clean

> Delete an experiment's checkpoints and logs

tp clean my-grpo
```

Deletes the checkpoints and logs an experiment's runs produced, freeing storage counted against your
quota. Asks for confirmation first; `-y` skips it.

> [!WARNING]
>
> This removes artifacts, not the experiment. `config.yaml` and `recipe.lock.json` stay, so the
> experiment can be resubmitted — but any checkpoint you had not exported is gone, and so is the
> ability to start a new run with `--init-from` pointing at it.

Check what a run still holds with [`tp job status`](https://docs.tuneplane.ai/en/cli/job) before cleaning, and
[export](https://docs.tuneplane.ai/en/cli/export.md) anything worth keeping first.
